Safecastle Royal Buyers Club—The Premier Crisis Preparedness Buyers Club in the World
SurvivalistBoards.com is the most dynamic preparedness-related forum on the internet today, in my opinion. I’m sure many of you agree.
I’m Vic--owner of one of the fastest growing crisis-preparedness companies in the business, Safecastle LLC. I just want to say I am excited to become a supporting part of this online community. We’ve been around a good long time and we are recognized far and wide as providing some of the very best products and value anywhere in the preparedness marketplace. We stand behind our products and with our customers all the way.
Joining up with Kev and all the rest of you, we wanted to make a nice statement about our commitment. As such, I decided to go big in this March Giveaway, with retail value of Safecastle prizes awarded exceeding $6000.

3. One prize per board member … except, those who are awarded a lifetime buyers club membership are eligible to also win one of the other prizes.
4. Prizes are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for other merchandise or cash value.

Must have SURVIVAL gear for your vehicle
The following is a recommendation of items to put into an emergency car kit: Water for drinking and cooking Food and snacks (compressed high energy snack bars are excellent because of their ability to withstand most car temperatures) Flashlight with extra batteries, or handcrank flashlight. (batteries last longer in LED flashlights) First aid kit with burn care dressings and gel Sanitation and sundry items including soap (hand sanitizer is a great idea because it does not require any water) Maps and compass AM/FM radio. We recommend having a radio with more than one source of power, or hand crank radios,(now come with flashlights also). Chemical lightsticks are recommended because of their safety Road flares can be used but are not as safe as the lightsticks Candle with windproof/waterproof matches (remember, in some cases it is not wise to light a match in case of a gas leak) Emergency blanket or bag Extra clothing Other useful items to remember: Jumper cables Car repair kit Try to always maintain at least one-half tank of gas Cell phone to report any emergencies (many disconnected cell phones may still be able to call "911" when charged) Fire extinguisher Paper and pencil for leaving notes or recording any thoughts Toys and other special consideration items for children Books and games for entertainment Short rubber hose for siphoning There are many ways to customize your emergency car kit. It is also important to consider special needs such as those with diabetes or hypoglycemia, babies, elderly, and people with allergies or chronic illness (always consult your physician). For a person with diabetes, remember to have extra insulin on hand. For a person with hypoglycemia, store high energy snacks in addition to their ration of food. For babies, store extra diapers, formula, blankets, and clothes. If you have no way of calling for help, tie a bright red piece of cloth on your antenna. This is generally recognized as a call for assistance. Remember to always let someone know what time you left and what time you expect to arrive at your destination. By taking these precautions, you can prepare your family for an emergency and feel more confident. The most important tools you must have in your car is a life hammer. People die every day because they can't get themselves or family members out of a car that is about to burst into flames or sink.
Paintball VS. Modern Warfare a social experiment
I recently authored a post on a survivalist website titled "paintball vs. Modern Warfare, which is better training for what is about to come. The responses were as I expected. The "survival experts" who that that both activities were a waist of time. The "wannabies" who gave completely irrelavent responses and those that saw value in one or the other.
That fact of the the matter is that everybody has their opinion on how to survive in a SHTF situation. The truth is their all worth considering. You need to open your mind to possibility. Take advantage of any opportunity to learn. Paint ball and modern warfare are both great learning enviroments. Strategy, team work and ammo conservation are just the beginning.
Do yourself a favor, open your mind and shut your mouth. Remember, if you can't learn now, you won't learn under the stress of a SHTF situation.
